Business Briefs | Odyssey, The Ridge Announce Expansion Plans
Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare announced it is adding an eating disorder residential treatment program for adolescents at its Magnolia Creek campus near Birmingham, Alabama.
Magnolia Creek treats women with eating disorders, as well as clients with secondary co-occurring mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, self-harm, substance use and trauma. The new program will provide treatment for females between the ages of 12 and 17, along with family therapy.
Magnolia Creek is part of an Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare portfolio of 20 programs operating in 8 states, offering treatment for eating disorders, dual diagnosis, autism spectrum disorder and addictive disorders.
The Ridge adding new building
The Ridge, a residential addiction treatment center near Cincinnati, has announced plans to add a new facility that will increase its capacity.
The new building on the Ridge’s 51-acre campus will add 6 private suites to complement the 16 rooms in its current facility. The new facility also will include a supervised detox center.
The Ridge opened in 2011 and has served more than 1,100 clients, according to its website.
