Path Mental Health Appoints 3 Executives
Path Mental Health, a provider of mental healthcare services based in Los Angeles, California, recently announced the appointment of the following 3 executives:
- Jay Meyers as chief commercial officer;
- David Katcher as chief operating officer; and
- Tracey Scraba as general counsel.
Meyers, a 25-year industry veteran, joins Path having most recently served for Quartet Health. He previously held executive roles with Elevance’s Diversified Business Group (now known as Carelon). He will oversee Path’s payer partnership growth.
Katcher, who most recently served as head of global operations for Lyft, has 15 years of experience in operational leadership roles.
Scraba has spent 20 years in healthcare, most recently as deputy general counsel for Signify Health.
Stella Opens 2 Facilities, Adds TMS
Stella, a provider of mental healthcare services with more than 35 locations in the United States, as well as facilities in Israel and Australia, has opened 2 new Centers of Excellence in Washington, DC, and New York. The company also announced that it is integrating transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) into its comprehensive care model.
The 2 new facilities announced on Tuesday will offer Stella’s medically monitored protocols, including its advanced stellate ganglion block, known as the Dual Sympathetic Reset, as well as ketamine infusion therapy, and, soon, TMS.
Caron Relaunches Program for Healthcare Professionals
Caron Treatment Centers, a provider of addiction and behavioral healthcare treatment, research, prevention, and addiction medicine education, announced recently that it has relaunched its specialty Healthcare Professionals Program, a treatment program for licensed medical professionals who are struggling with alcohol or substance use disorder.
The program includes 4 weeks of residential treatment, followed by a 2-to-4 week stay in Caron’s new partial hospitalization program. Participants will have additional sessions with doctors and other staff, including peer group therapy sessions with other patients in the program. Caron will also advocate for participants as they meet all licensure requirements while transitioning back to professional practice.
Healthcare professionals eligible for the program include the following:
- MDs and DOs
- Nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Nurses (RNs, CRNAs, and LPNs)
- Dentists
- Pharmacists
- Veterinarians
