Business Briefs: Recovery Ways Acquires Idaho Programs, Lighthouse Adds Investor, CarePlus NJ Names VP

Recovery Ways has announced the addition of Idaho Behavioral Health (IBH) to its network of mental health and addiction treatment programs. IBH operates clinics in Boise, Mountain Home, Caldwell and Nampa, Idaho, offering telehealth, community-based recovery services, peer support, medication management and case management services for adults, families, adolescents and children.

The acquisition continues Recovery Ways’ multistate expansion, which began earlier this year. In April, the company announced it had acquired Omega Recovery in Austin, Texas, Breakthrough Recovery and Colonial Clinic in Spokane, Washington, and Alpine Recovery in Arlington, Washington.

Lighthouse Autism Center, Cerebus announce partnership

Lighthouse Autism Center recently announced a strategic investment by an affiliate of alternative investment firm Cerebus Capital Management. Lighthouse founder and CEO Gregg Maggioli and Abry Partners are also investing alongside Cerebus in the deal, and Maggioli will continue to lead the organization.

Based in South Bend, Indiana, Lighthouse provides center-based applied behavior analysis services for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder through a network of centers across the Midwest.

CarePlus NJ adds VP of addiction recovery services

CarePlus NJ, a provider of primary and behavioral health services for adults and children, has promoted Katherine Coleman, LPC, LCADC, to vice president of addiction recovery services, which encompasses the company’s continuum of outpatient care for adults and adolescents.

Coleman, who has spent 10 years in substance use and mental health counseling, joined CarePlus in 2013 as the organization’s program director for addictive services. She was promoted to associate vice president of addiction services in 2019, playing a key role in the development and expansion of CarePlus’s addiction recovery services continuum.
