Summit BHC Announces Personnel Moves
Summit BHC, a national provider of behavioral health and addiction treatment services, has announced the promotion of 2 executives to new roles, as well as the recent addition of 2 hires to its management team.
Daniel Krasner has been promoted to the position of chief marketing officer. Krasner most recently served as executive vice president of business development, a role in which he led business development initiatives, including the growth of Summit’s alumni and veteran services departments.
Kim Brady has been elevated to the role of chief human resources officer after previously serving as senior vice president of human resources. Brady is credited with expanding Summit BHC’s HR department and leading the process to select and implement a new HR management and payroll system.
Summit BHC also recently recruited John Flanagan to join the organization as its vice president of development and Jeanne Sands for the role of chief information officer. Both joined Summit in December 2022. Flanagan brings more than 30 years of experience developing and expanding behavioral health systems and opening new facilities, while Sands has spent more than 20 years developing healthcare technology solutions and assembling teams.
Wave Life Secures $6 Million Investment
Wave Life, a mental health platform aimed at supporting individuals in Generation Z, announced on Tuesday that it has completed a $6 million seed investment led by Santé Ventures, with additional participation from Hannah Grey, Joyance Capital, Gaingels, and Telocity Ventures. Wave Life said its newly raised capital will be used to refine product offerings and expand further into the employer space.
The Wave Life platform offers its users emotional wellbeing coaching and techniques to apply within and outside the workplace. Wave Life was founded by Sarah Adler, PsyD, a clinical psychologist and clinical associate professor of psychiatry at Stanford University.
Monte Nido Opens Sixth Residential Program in New York
Monte Nido & Affiliates, a multistate operator of eating disorder programs, announced on Monday that it has opened a new center in New City, New York. Known as Monte Nido Rockland, the residential program will provide care for adults of all genders with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other eating disorder conditions.
Monte Nido Rockland is the organization’s sixth residential treatment center in New York, complementing 3 other programs for adults and 2 for adolescents. Monte Nido also offers in-person day treatment programming in 2 New York locations, as well as virtual programming. Overall, Monte Nido operates 51 programs in 15 states through its 5 brands.
Helping Hands Family Expands Into Pittsburgh
Helping Hands Family (HHF), a provider of autism therapy services, announced this week that it is expanding its operations into Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The provider of applied behavior analysis now operates in 5 states, with treatment including assessments, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing family support that leverages parental involvement.
