CleanSlate Appoints New CEO
CleanSlate Centers, a national provider of office-based, outpatient medication-assisted treatment services, has appointed its next CEO: Chris Bove has been selected to serve as the organization’s top executive, succeeding Greg Marotta, who has led CleanSlate since 2016.
Chosen after a national search conducted by the CleanSlate board of directors, Bove has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience. Most recently, he served as president and chief operating officer of D4C Dental Brands, which serves specialty pediatric and orthodontic providers in 130 locations. Prior to his time with D4C, Bove was the chief operating officer of the former Correct Care Solutions, now known as Wellpath, a national provider of medical, mental, and behavioral healthcare services to patients in inpatient and residential facilities, civil commitment centers, and local, state, and federal correctional facilities.
“Chris is an exceptional executive leader with extraordinary passion, experience, and operational skills,” said Greg Roth, CleanSlate board chairman, said in a news release announcing the appointment. “His patient-centered, people-first approach and focus on high-quality patient care will be important in supporting the company’s mission and growth.”
Bove takes over the CEO role from Marotta, who is transitioning away from the organization. Under Marotta’s leadership, CleanSlate has grown from 9 centers in 1 state to a network of 80 facilities across 10 states. The company has cared for more than 113,000 patients during Marotta’s tenure.
