Delphi Promotes From Within to Fill CEO Role
Delphi Behavioral Health Group, a substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health treatment provider with 14 locations, recently announced that Michael Borkowski has been elevated within the organization to become its new CEO, succeeding Matthew Feehery. Borkowski has served as Delphi’s chief financial officer since 2016.
In a news release announcing the appointment, Delphi cited Borkowski’s “proven track record of successful strategic development, planning, and execution in the behavioral health field.”
Mike Katz, chairman of the Delphi board of directors, said Borkowski’s background in executive leadership and financial operations made him a fit for the CEO role.
“He’s a proven leader, and I am confident that his strategic focus will help drive both growth and profitability for the company,” Katz said in the release. “I look forward to working closely with him as we execute our strategic plan.
As CEO, Borkowski will be tasked with expanding the organization’s clinical strategies and broadening its geographic footprint. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Delphi currently operates in 5 states: California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.
“Although we operate in a constantly evolving environment, I strongly believe that [Delphi] has prioritized providing top-notch care and support for its clients and their families since its inception 6 years ago,” Borkowski said in a statement. “Delphi's strong history paired with its passionate and talented team makes it exciting for me to step into this role.”
