Monte Nido & Affiliates Adds 5th Brand to Portfolio

Monte Nido & Affiliates, the multi-state eating disorder treatment provider, announced this week that it is acquiring Walden Behavioral Care, based in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Walden becomes the company’s fifth affiliate brand, joining Monte Nido, Rosewood, Clementine Programs and Oliver-Pyatt Centers. With its acquisition of Walden, Monte Nido & Affiliates’ network of programs will include more than 40 programs across 13 states.

Walden offers inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for eating and related psychiatric disorders. The organization has programs in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Georgia. In a news release announcing the deal, Monte Nido & Affiliates noted that Walden Behavioral Care Center for Recovery in Dedham, Massachusetts, is “the largest 24-hour inpatient and residential care facility dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders in the U.S.”
