Educational Update: Cath Lab and Beyond

Cath Lab and Beyond recently celebrated another successful course in Sacramento, California. Over 30 cath lab nurses and technologists from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Wisconsin, and New York, many pictured here, attended the 4-day educational program. This program is tailored for staff new to the cath lab setting. Taught by experienced cath lab nurses and technologists, the days are filled with heart dissection, physiology review, waveform recognition, and discussion of diagnostic and treatment strategies for coronary, peripheral, and structural heart disease. This program is approved for 32 CEUs for RNs and radiologic technologists.
