Imaging Corner: Mitral Valve Insufficiency and Percutaneous Treatment

Multi-modality imaging is essential for successful treatment of many cardiac diseases, including severe mitral regurgitation (MR). The following four clinical images demonstrate mitral valve insufficiency treatment support using the Artis zee interventional imaging system from Siemens Healthineers and tracheal rapid ultrasound exam (TRUE) volume transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) courtesy of the Acuson SC2000 ultrasound system, also from Siemens Healthineers.
