Norman Regional Health System and Norman Heart Hospital Achieves Cycle IV Chest Pain Accreditation

Norman, Oklahoma – Norman Regional’s HealthPlex hospital has received Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC), an international not-for-profit organization that focuses on transforming cardiovascular care by assisting facilities in their effort to create communities of excellence that bring together quality, cost, and patient satisfaction.  

The Cardiovascular Service Line at Norman Heart Hospital has been an early leader in its geographical service area. The culture of the hospital is one of innovation and cooperation. The organization’s culture is one of quality beliefs and values and sharing what is done, how it is done, and who is doing it with all staff. Norman Heart Hospital’s chest pain program is constantly looking for ways to improve Early Heart Attack Care (EHAC) for all Oklahomans.
