Exhaust system
MagneGrip exhaust extraction systems remove 100 percent of the toxic gases and particulates released by operating vehicles in firehouses and emergency medical facilities. MagneGrip recently introduced a redesigned nozzle-assembly elbow that makes its systems even more efficient. The aluminum elbow, now 5 inches in diameter, has a redesigned elbow angle that provides greater airflow efficiency and less static pressure. Five inches is the same dimension as most fire apparatus tailpipes. In addition, MagneGrip's standard, heavy-duty hoses have five-inch diameters. The new elbow design -- plus outside air entering through a one-way valve in the nozzle -- practically eliminates wear on hoses by hot exhaust emissions.
