Kendrick Traction Device Approval

The Ohio Medical Transportation Board recently approved the Kendrick Traction Device (KTD) for use on all state-certified ambulances. This decision came after meeting with Emergency Products and Research (EP&R), manufacturer of the KTD, and discussing the range of patients on whom it can be used. After the presentation, the Board decided that the KTD does satisfy the requirements for both adult and pediatric traction. The KTD was invented and engineered by Rick Kendrick, a well-known expert in emergency medical devices. The KTD is cost effective, space saving, and easy to use by all emergency medical personnel. Call EP&R at 800/322-5725 for the nearest distributor.
