EMS Safety Foundation EMS World Expo 2012 Safety Innovation Awards
As EMS matures as a profession, the way we look at it is changing. A field whose vehicles and equipment and entire mind-set were designed around patient care has begun to think more about safety—keeping its providers intact so they can help patients. That priority takes another step forward with this year’s inaugural EMS World/EMS Safety Foundation Safety Innovation Awards.
An interdisciplinary panel from the EMS Safety Foundation scoped out the EMS World Expo exhibit hall floor for innovative products, features and approaches in regard to EMS safety. Each was assessed to meet the following criteria: innovative, practical and cost efficient.
