BRIEF: 6 people pulled from car in St. Louis Park pond; conditions unknown

Nov. 21--Six people, including five children, have been pulled from a vehicle that went off an entrance ramp and landed in a holding pond in St. Louis Park Thursday morning, authorities said.

The Hennepin County Emergency Medical Service said "multiple patients" were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Their conditions are not known.

Initial reports are that it was a mother and five children in the car, and that the car was submerged for some time.

The incident happened on the ramp from Hwy. 7 to northbound Hwy. 100 around 6:15 a.m.

The ramp remains closed.

Hennepin County's water patrol was dispatched to the scene to help.
