Pinnacle Leadership Conference Postponed to 2021
Fitch & Associates announced April 10, 2020, that its 15th Annual Pinnacle Leadership Conference will be postponed until 2021.
“COVID-19 has presented the EMS profession with unprecedented challenges and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future,” said Jay Fitch, founding partner and Pinnacle co-chair. “With the uncertainty, and out of an abundance of caution, we’ve elected to postpone the conference until next summer.”
The conference will now be held Aug. 9-13, 2021, at the Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Ariz. Current sponsors and attendee registrations will be deferred to next summer, or the firm will provide full refunds as necessary.
“Each summer, Pinnacle offers an opportunity to gather with peers from EMS organizations across North America to learn, talk about the challenges and opportunities we all face, and to share ideas,” said Anthony Minge, senior partner and Pinnacle co-chair. “We’ll truly miss that face-to-face interaction that is so rejuvenating.”
To continue their mission of education, Minge said the firm was designing a series of complimentary webinars and live presentations throughout the year.
“The first Pinnacle webinar will focus on resilience, which is an important topic for all leaders as we support our teams through this crisis and recovery,” Minge said. The session, scheduled for April 21, will be led by Mike Taigman and sponsored by First Watch. Additional topics will be announced soon.
“We deeply appreciate the work all EMS, public health and public safety professionals and their teams are doing on the front lines of the pandemic response,” Fitch said. “We hope you stay safe and protect your own families as you continue to care for your caregivers and community.”
“We look forward to coming together with everyone next summer for exceptional learning, conversation, and camaraderie.”
