BRIEF: Fire at Mojo Taqueria in Lyons causes $20,000 to $30,000 in damage

March 21--Mojo Taqueria in Lyons suffered significant damage when the restaurant's wooden deck caught fire overnight, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

The fire was first reported at 12:40 a.m. today. When firefighters arrived at the restaurant, located at 216 Main St., the wooden deck area was on fire.

Crews were able to put out the fire, but the deck and the exterior wall of the restaurant were significantly damaged, sheriff's officials said. The estimated damage to the structure was between $20,000 and $30,000.

There were no injuries and no other structures were damaged.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but officials said it does not appear to be criminal in nature.
