ImageTrend Elite Announces New Developments for Exposure Tracking

PRESS RELEASE

LAKEVILLE, MN—ImageTrend Inc. announced Oct. 31, 2022, new developments for exposure tracking in ImageTrend Elite™ to integrate records in a centralized view as well as the ability to print or export records. Although Elite users have been able to use the solution to track exposures for many years, this latest enhancement increases the visibility of exposure records documented within fire incidents and emphasizes the ability to share records quickly and easily.

First responders can be exposed to hazardous chemicals in the form of gases, vapors and particulates that are known to be cancer causing, which is likely to play a significant role in cancer being the number one cause of death in firefighters. ImageTrend delivered these ease-of-use capabilities as presumptive cancer initiatives become increasingly prevalent and to meet the challenges of public safety.

“Supporting and promoting the health of the first responders who serve our communities is of the utmost importance,” commented Troy Lachinski, ImageTrend’s product manager for Elite. “Having access to personal exposure records, whether related to fire incidents, infectious diseases, assaults, injuries and stressful or impactful calls, allows first responders to be in-the-know of potential long-term effects of past events.”

In 2020, ImageTrend also launched the ImageTrend Aware™ mobile app, allowing all public safety and health care professionals to track personal exposures at no cost regardless of the records management system or ePCR vendor they use. With administrator activation, exposure records from Aware can also be automatically populated in Elite through a bi-directional integration. Aware is available as a free download from the Apple App Store for iOS devices and from Google Play for Android devices.
