PRIDEStar EMS Donates $2500 to Sun Santa Fund
LOWELL, MA—PRIDEStar EMS announced December 23, 2021 that it has donated $2,500 to The Sun Santa Fund, which provides a brighter Christmas for children throughout the Greater Lowell area.
“We are incredibly proud to support such a great cause once again this year. We’ve seen firsthand how Sun Santa can make a difference for a family in need during the holidays,” said David Daly, founder and CEO of PRIDEStar EMS. “We believe one of our responsibilities as a company is to give back to the community, and Sun Santa embodies that spirit.”
For more than 30 years Sun Santa, through Lowell Sun Charities, has partnered with local service agencies to ensure that no child is forgotten during the holidays. Partnering this year with Community Teamwork Inc. and The Salvation Army, families who live in 23 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley, Nashoba Valley, and Southern New Hampshire will receive vouchers that can be redeemed for groceries for a holiday meal, and toys and clothing so children have gifts to open on Christmas Day.
“Sun Santa is exactly what a community-oriented charity should be, neighbor helping neighbor,” said John Chemaly, senior vice president of corporate strategies, who served as honorary chairman for the 2017 Sun Santa drive. “We encourage our friends and neighbors to come together once again this year and support this worthy cause.”
