CMS Announces Selected Applicants for ET3 Model
PRESS RELEASE
The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (Innovation Center) has announced the list of selected applicants for the Emergency Triage, Treat, and Transport (ET3) Model. The list includes applicants from 36 states and the District of Columbia and represents a variety of EMS organization types (government-owned, fire-based, private non-profit, private for-profit, and hospital-based). Selected applicants also represent rural and urban regions. You can find the list of selected applicants, along with their corresponding County(ies) and State at the link here and under the “Additional Information” area on the ET3 Model web page.
Please note: The list of Selected Applicants is not the final list of participants for the ET3 Model. Once CMS has fully executed Participation Agreements with the selected applicants, CMS will publish the final list of Model Participants on the ET3 web page and officially launch the Model. CMS plans to publish the ET3 Model Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the 911 medical triage lines shortly after the Model Go-Live.
As a reminder, the NOFO will provide up to two years of funding for entities that operate or have authority over a 911 system to establish or expand upon a medical triage line. The NOFO will be available in geographic regions where ambulance suppliers and providers have been selected to participate in the ET3 Model. We encourage state and local governments, or their designees interested in this funding opportunity to check the list of Selected Applicants to see if your organization may be eligible to apply once the NOFO is published.
