ImageTrend License Management to Connect to EMS Compact
PRESS RELEASE
ImageTrend, Inc. has announced an offering to connect its License Management solution with the National EMS Coordinated Database for the electronic exchange of licensing information by June 2020. A National EMS-ID number will be generated to link EMS personnel records across multiple state licensing systems and the National EMS Coordinated Database. Leveraging the automated licensing workflow capability, new and updated EMS personnel data can be reported in real-time. ImageTrend License Management has been integrated with the National Registry since 2016 to automate the EMS verification process and is excited to expand this service for states that are committed to the EMS Compact especially during this evolving public health event.
The EMS Compact extends a privilege for EMS personnel from member states to practice on a short-term, intermittent basis under approved circumstances in other member states. The National EMS Coordinated database will allow state officials, employers, EMS personnel and the general public to quickly validate the State EMS License status or the EMS Compact Privilege to Practice status in any of the 18 Compact states. ImageTrend offers this service to its clients and states participating in the EMS Compact to reduce the stress on daily operations as EMS personnel become ill or enter into quarantine to ensure the safety of their communities.
“We value ImageTrend’s long-term commitment to securely integrating state EMS licensure systems with the National Registry,” said Donnie Woodyard, Chief Operating Officer of the National Registry of EMTs. “Now, we are pleased that ImageTrend is expanding their integration to include the new functionality of the EMS Compact."
ImageTrend is currently the selected partner with 26 state and federal licensing systems, with 10 of the states being members of the EMS Compact. For more information regarding ImageTrend’s License Management solution, click here or email ask@imagetrend.com.
