Mich. Life EMS Ambulance Expands 9-1-1 Response Area
Life EMS Ambulance has announced an expansion of its primary 911 emergency response area in Southwest Michigan to include the city of Fennville and surrounding communities in Allegan County.
The expansion takes effect on August 1 and includes the City of Fennville, the townships of Clyde, Ganges and Lee, and the southern portions of both Manlius and Saugatuck Townships.
“It is of utmost importance to provide high quality care to our residents and visitors when they become ill or injured, and Life EMS Ambulance has a national reputation for the quality of care they offer,“ said Don Nagel, Chair, Emergency Services Committee (ECS) for the Fennville area.
Added Saugatuck Township Board Member Tony Schippa: “Several important facts made our decision to choose Life EMS Ambulance quite clear; they are a Michigan-based company and we have direct contact with the CEO, with whom we quickly formed a professional and open relationship. We discovered the partnership would provide better response times, much better transport cost savings for community members, and that Life EMS Ambulance sincerely cares about the communities in which they serve.”
“As a locally-owned and nationally-known provider of paramedic ambulance care for over 40 years, we are excited about the expansion of our service to the citizens of the greater Fennville area,” said John Pinkster, director of South Operations for Life EMS Ambulance. “Our highly experienced EMS Team will bring the skill and compassion that Life EMS Ambulance is widely recognized for in a highly reliable and cost-effective manner to area residents and visitors when they need it most.”
