FieldMed Launches Integrated EMS/911 Feature
PRESS RELEASE
Following the recent launch of FieldMed’s telehealth and COVID-19 screening feature as an extension of its existing Community Health software program, the company announced today the debut of a cloud-based EMS/911 software module that provides a streamlined and more efficient workflow to emergency response paramedics in the field. FieldMed’s software system is differentiated by its powerful functionality behind a simple, easy-to-use and familiar interface. FieldMed’s Community Health and EMS/911 software modules provide seamless data capture, the ability to integrate the software with numerous tools and systems, and a completely customizable experience that allows departments to capture data that suits their specific needs and use cases.
Instead of taking handwritten notes to be later transcribed into a software program or attempting to navigate a complex software system that forces users into a specific workflow during an emergency response situation, FieldMed’s new EMS/911 software module offers simple yet powerful electronic reporting capabilities so emergency response paramedics can focus more of their time on the patient. As a comprehensive solution, the EMS/911 feature will also capture all necessary data so that organizations can report to NEMSIS, the national database that is used to store EMS data.
“As a former firefighter and paramedic for more than 25 years, I have seen what works and what doesn’t when it comes to capturing critical patient data on an emergency call,” said Daniel Frey, co-founder and vice president of business development at FieldMed. “Leveraging firsthand experience and expertise on our team, FieldMed built the new EMS/911 module to enable paramedics to report data in a much more efficient manner that fits right into their regular emergency procedures.”
Daniel Dura, co-founder and CEO of FieldMed, continued: “Through our work with FieldMed’s community health platform and recent launch of our COVID-19 screening form and telehealth capabilities, we’ve seen the impact offering simple yet comprehensive software for paramedics. Our goal is to expand these efficiencies and ensure that the needs and workflows of fire fighters and their departments are put first.”
Current users of FieldMed’s community health software will have the ability to easily switch between the two platforms based on the nature of each call, providing a complete solution for 911 response and community health paramedicine.
“This all-inclusive software was built with both the paramedics and patients in mind,” said Randy Barker, co-founder of FieldMed. “By simplifying the data capture for paramedics, they can devote more time to the needs of their patients rather than tedious manual reporting.”
FieldMed is available nationwide and offers a variety of pricing structures based on specific program needs. To learn more about FieldMed and the new EMS/911 module, visit FieldMed.com.
