PRESS RELEASE
Editor's Note: The Third Annual International State of The Future of Resuscitation Conference will be co-located at EMS World Expo, taking place on Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15. Register here!
Take Heart America has released the proceedings from the 2nd Annual International State of The Future of Resuscitation Conference held at Parc Floral, Paris, France where 30 resuscitation experts presented resuscitation work, advancements and successful outcomes to more than 350 EMS providers including EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physicians, medical technologists, and students.
The conference was co-organized by members of SAUV Life, the French Resuscitation Council, and Take Heart America. It was co-sponsored by the French, Dutch, Spanish, and European Resuscitation Councils, Take Heart America, the Metropolitan EMS Medical Directors (aka the Eagles), the Minnesota Resuscitation Consortium, and the Alameda County EMS Agency, California.
The conference focused on all aspects of resuscitation and EMS systems worldwide that studied out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rates before and after implementation of special practices and procedures designed to improve resuscitation outcomes.
There was a special focus on a “Bundles of Care” approach to the treatment of cardiac arrest to ensure a systematic and carefully performed choreography of care at cardiac arrest scenes and after resuscitation. This approach has previously been shown to double survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.1
The faculty told the international attendees that they believe we are at the “Dawn of the Resuscitation Revolution” in all countries with both science and technology being integrated together to allow new and more advanced resuscitative practices.
Please pass this 56-page digital report on to your members, faculty, training staff, medical directors and EMS personnel. The information presented is proven to save lives and improve EMS system performance.
