SafeBVM Launches Educational Animated Video Series

SafeBVM^TM, a 2019 EMS World Innovation Award winner, announced Feb. 8, 2021, the launch of an educational animated video series as part of the American Heart Association’s EmPOWERED to Serve Business Accelerator^TM.

SafeBVM Corp. is a social enterprise focused on education and innovation in the airway space. The company aims to prevent human error and provider-associated complications of manual ventilation that worsen patient outcomes and increase healthcare costs.

Prathamesh Prabhudesai, one of the company’s founders, recently participated in the American Heart Association’s EmPOWERED to Serve Business Accelerator.™ He was selected as Runner-up and Fan Favorite for his innovative approach, and was awarded grants totaling $20,000.

As part of the Accelerator, SafeBVM has launched an educational animated video series that will address airway management and ventilation topics. The first video series will focus on essential issues related to the bag valve mask.
