CyberLock Helping Secure Mobile Integrated Healthcare

CORVALLIS, Oregon—June 13, 2017—CyberLock, a manufacturer of smart key access control systems, has developed a healthy relationship with the mobile integrated healthcare (MIH) industry. With MIH’s ever-growing footprint, the need to secure pharmaceuticals and narcotics in the field is an important and critical need.

CyberLock’s electronic cylinders, which retrofit into existing hardware, and electronic key, provide a high security solution for mobile pharmaceutical cabinets. Each key given to a user is programmed through software to allow access to permissible locks, per the software administrator’s allowance.

“What makes us so significant in the MIH industry is our ability to track access to mobile pharmaceutical cabinets,” states John Moa, Director of Sales at CyberLock. “Companies can see who is accessing narcotics with the help of the lock and keys audit trails; date, time, and the person accessing. We can also track all denied requests."

The combination of the audit trails and the relentless security of the lock itself help MIH companies secure expensive pharmaceuticals that can go untracked, lost or stolen. Also, CyberLock solves the problem of the ever-unpopular and expensive need to re-key mobile cabinets when keys go missing. Simply deactivate the CyberKey or deny permission for a quick and cost effective solution.

CyberLock will attend the EMS World Trade Show in October 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada to showcase how they can partner with the MIH industry. With a plethora of products to choose from, there is no doubt CyberLock can help EMS employees secure their assets out in the field.
