Advancing Interoperability

Coordination and interoperability are top of mind for first responders. Ninety-three percent of responders who answered a recent large-scale national survey stated that coordination between agencies is critical when responding to public safety crises and emergency situations. Eighty percent felt that interoperability, the ability to communicate across an agency regardless of network or device, was a critical concern for emergency response. New technologies are continuing to drive innovations in this critical sector.
