Implementing a Data Driven Quality Management Program for EMS

Quality Improvement in EMS This manuscript details how to implement or evaluate a quality assessment and quality improvement (QA/QI) program. We detail the methods that Monroe Fire Department used to improve its EMS delivery, including the combination of a data-driven quality management system with comprehensive training initiatives.

These improvements led to the Monroe Fire Department being named Ohio’s EMS Agency of the Year in 2024.
