In addition to the video interview, Dr. Ellenbogen adds that this study confirms that catheter ablation of the pulmonary veins is quite effective for reducing the burden of AF in patients with persistent AF. Adding vein of Marshall ablation with ethanol increases the efficacy of the procedure.
