Rita Knotts, MD, is a gastroenterologist with the Center for Esophageal Health at NYU-Langone Health in New York, New York. Elizabeth Volkmann, MD, is a rheumatologist and the founder and codirector of the UCLA Connective Tissue Disease-Related Interstitial Lung Disease and director of the UCLA Scleroderma Program.
