IOIBD: Roundtable Discussion on COVID-19 Vaccines for Patients With IBD
Drs Corey Siegel, David Rubin, Gil Melmed, and Jamie Horrigan participated in a roundtable discussion about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines among patients with inflammatory bowel, and what they recommend to their patients.
Corey Siegel, MD, is a professor of medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and section chief of gastroenterology at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. David Rubin, MD, is the Joseph B Kirsner Professor in Medicine, chief of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, and director of the Digestive Diseases Center at the University of Chicago. Gil Y Melmed, MD, is director of clinical trials at the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center at Cedars-Sinai, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at David Geffen University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. Jamie Horrigan, MD, is a practicing gastroenterologist at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
