Section 1: Uploading Print and Digital Content
1.1: Creating an Issue
Print and/or magazine or Journal issue of a publication needs to be created if adding Issue Content to the website.

Create title for issue page

EX: “May 2021”; “Special Issue: Open Tibia Fracture Repair”

Content display: Check off which teaser items should show with the article

EX: headshot/stock art image, text preview, author byline

Issue information: insert preview image (if any; if not, it will not show); set publish date, if custom; insert issue number and volume number, if applicable

EX: Preview image may be a journal cover image

Featured item: select an article from the issue (after articles have been uploaded) to feature on (feed to) the HMP Global Learning Network

* Most recent articles uploaded will appear at the top of dropdown

Issue advertisement (if applicable): add sponsor or featured content to display on Issue page; need to include the information for the sponsored/featured article. Adds the sponsored item below the “issue feature” at the top of the issue page. If no feature is tagged, will show as the top item.

1.2: Create Issue Content
Content related to the print and/or digital issue of a journal.
[Kim: Is it possible to have all of the collapsible fields collapsed when the user initially opens the content type to upload? All the fields opened are hard to follow and the order gets confusing due to taxonomy including multiple types of taxonomy that may not all be necessary]

Insert title, check off box if peer reviewed content, select any relevant optional subhead, ad roadblock, and image

Author Information: select authors, if not in website currently, type into the open text field; insert any disclosures and acknowledgments

Upload article PDF

Body Content: select relevant body content type [Kim: Remove slide show option

Insert relevant information in appropriate fields

Partner: insert any Partner groups existing in the system (if not in the website, will need to manually create; see section XX on how to create a Partner)

Company: insert any company sponsorship – company has to exist first (See section XX on how to create a Company)

Comment Settings: Select open or closed to allow for comments

Branding: List the primary brand first and then all subsequent brands (eg, learning networks). The primary brand will have their branding displayed on the content.

Page Settings: select related content display, if needed; limit access (gate) to page; select appropriate content feedback/contact option

Content Feedback Settings (comments box): select open, closed, or scheduled (if scheduled, insert date range of active run)

Kim--With being able to change the background colors of text areas, can we also change font colors if the box color is dark (eg, navy blue)?

On the backend, I moved around a few content field (sectioned body content) and it changed the order to the version I wanted. On the front end, however, it did not re-order the table of contents in the side bar.

PDF icon in the table of contents shows weirdly.
1.3: Supplement
This content type includes the following: supplements, white papers, and other downloadable items. There is an option to gate the content behind a user needing to log in.

Supplement Link (external/third-party host): paste URL of third-party/e-book; Link text will override the default “View More” button

1.4: Adding Web Content
Content related to website exclusive content, such as the following types:

Insert title of content, subhead (optional) choose Preview Image (optional), insert existing Authors (searchable; will autopopulate if it exists in the back end), type in other authors in Authors/Presenters open text, select PDF attachment (if applicable) [Kim: Add permissions. Summary box: Provide a brief description of the content uploaded for preview text.
