Dr Alan Alper Sag, Assistant Professor of Radiology and Orthopedic Surgery at Duke Interventional Radiology and Duke Medical Center, discusses his recent publication, "Salvage Cryoablation for Local Recurrences of Thyroid Cancer Inseparable from the Trachea and Neurovascular Structures," published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr Sag also discusses possible future treatment options for this type of thyroid cancer and offers tips for IRs who are interested in practice-building in this domain.
