Current Practices in the Sleep Center: One Year into COVID-19 Pandemic

In this video, Romy Hoque, MD, Associate Professor of Neurology at Emory University, Medical Director, Emory Sleep Laboratory, Atlanta, Georgia, discusses his presentation “Managing Sleep Medicine Clinical Practice in the Age of COVID-19” to be presented at the Associated Professional Sleep Societies' Virtual SLEEP 2021 meeting.

Dr. Hoque will be discussing current practices in the sleep center one year into the COVID-19 pandemic; expected outcomes vs actual outcomes in the sleep laboratory; infectivity and vaccinations; and the role of telehealth in providing patient care through the pandemic.

Dr. Hoque’s presentation will take place virtually on Friday, June 12, as part of the discussion “Navigating Sleep Medicine Services During the Pandemic: Realities, Challenges and Potential Solutions.”
