Partnership Brings Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy to Veterans
Heroic Hearts Project, a not-for-profit that connects military veterans who are struggling with mental trauma to psychedelic therapies, and Field Trip Health, a technology-enabled psychedelic therapies provider, have announced a partnership to boost access to and awareness of psychedelic therapies for veterans with mental health disorders.
HHP will conduct outreach and education programs for military veterans on the use of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Field Trip will assist veterans in applying for insurance and reimbursement options to make treatment available at a nominal cost through its Health Hubs.
At the outset, the project’s efforts will be concentrated in Canada, helping Canadian veterans access Field Trip’s KAP+ pathway, a trauma-focused ketamine-assisted psychotherapy tailored to the needs of veterans and frontline workers, at Field Trip’s clinic in Toronto.
Both HHP and Field Trip operate in the United States and Canada.
