Strengths

Self-report measure
Evaluates both attitudes about medications and actual medication-taking behavior

Weaknesses

Scoring requires some interpretation, “yes” response does not necessarily indicate a positive attitude or behavior
Total score correlated weakly with adherence, validity moderate-weak
