Bridging Access to Care, a non-profit behavioral health organization in Brooklyn, New York, has an organizational mission of providing evidence-based interventions throughout treatment and recently transitioned to a new electronic health record (EHR) system to deliver on this mission.  As they noticed early on, there are a host of significant challenges and roadblocks to effective implementation, especially when attempting to incorporate an evidence-based practice like Trauma-Informed Care across the organization.

In this video, sit down with Nadine Akinyemi, Director of Social Support Services at Bridging Access to Care, as she shares how her organization was able to effectively implement a Trauma-Informed EHR.  Listen in, as Nadine outlines:

  • What her organization considered when researching EHRs
  • The challenges of implementing trauma-informed care
  • A list of tools now at her disposal to deliver better quality care

Nadine is also joined by Alex P. Alexander, CEO of TenEleven Group, who illustrates how TenEleven's structure has allowed organizations to remain flexible and adapt to incorporate new evidence-based best practices within the clinical workflow at a moment's notice.  Alexander outlines in detail how the newly released TenEleven Treatment Wizard™ for Trauma Informed Care has empowered behavioral health organizations to not only use their data, but remain nimble in an increasingly complex field.
