Label Error Prompts Homeopathic Kit Recall

Washington Homeopathic Products Inc., Berkley Springs, West Virginia, is recalling some Complete 30C/200C Homeopathic Kits because of a labeling mix-up. According to the July 31, 2024, US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Enforcement Report, bottles of ferrum phosphoricum 200C were incorrectly labeled as ferrum metallicum 200C.

The recall includes 11 kits (UPC 7 40640 64300 6) from lot 32093 (Exp. 8/31/28). The kits were distributed throughout the United States.

Washington Homeopathic Products voluntarily initiated the recall on May 31, 2024. The FDA designated the recall Class III on July 25, 2024, signaling that use of the product is not likely to cause harm.

Each Complete 30C/200C Homeopathic Kit contains 100 glass vials, ½-dram size, of homeopathic products.
