Subpotent Sanitizers Recalled

Shuzy Rock Inc is recalling all Premium Nature Instant Hand Sanitizer (ethyl alcohol 70%) and  Premium Nature Instant Hand Sanitizer (ethyl alcohol 65%) within expiry and labeled “Made in the USA.” According to the March 2, 2022, US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Enforcement Report, FDA analysis found samples to be subpotent for ethanol.

The recall includes the following products, which were distributed throughout the United States:

• Premium Nature Instant Hand Sanitizer (ethyl alcohol 70%), plastic bottles packaged as 8 oz (UPC 8 19192 02866 8) and 16 oz (UPC 8 19192 02874 3); and
• Premium Nature Instant Hand Sanitizer (ethyl alcohol 65%), plastic bottles packaged as 2 oz (UPC 8 19192 02865 1), 4 oz (UPC 8 19192 02826 2), 16 oz (UPC 8 19192 02874 3), and 1 gallon (UPC 8 19192 02830 9).

Shuzy Rock voluntarily initiated the recall January 28, 2022. The FDA has not yet issued a recall classification.
