The lesion typically occurs in young to middle-aged adults, and the most common location is the trunk followed by the extremities. Given the tumor’s non-descript clinical appearance and relatively slow growth, the diagnosis is often delayed. Due to the propensity of this tumor for local recurrence, wide excision, when feasible, is the treatment of choice.
