Thanks to the availability of vaccines and advances in acute care over the past year, the “end” of these unprecedented times is almost in sight. With physical distancing measures and masks required, Maui Derm for Dermatologists, an annual staple in continuing education for the specialty, hosted some speakers and attendees for one of the first conferences of the year. AAD VMX 2021

While more information is still forthcoming, the American Academy of Dermatology announced that its annual meeting will take on a virtual format again in 2021. Given the success of AAD VMX 2020 and the ongoing public health crisis, the Academy announced the move to virtual again in early January 2021. The Virtual Meeting Experience offers more than 75 sessions and will feature more than 50 hours of live presentations, leading plenary speakers, an eposter hall, and late-breaking research presentations. Dermatology Week
