The Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is a professional nursing organization comprised of a diverse group of individuals committed to quality care through sharing knowledge, expertise, and ongoing dermatologic education. Health care professionals from around the world access the DNA’s expertise through a variety of high-quality educational resources, including a journal, an international annual conference, and numerous online educational opportunities. The core purpose of the DNA is to promote excellence in dermatologic care by providing up-to-date continuing education for its members.

The DNA will host its 43rd Annual Convention at the Doubletree by Hilton at Sea World in Orlando, FL, March 5–8, 2025, with the theme of “One for All.” The meeting will offer numerous educational and networking activities, providing staff who specialize or have an interest in dermatology, such as nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and other health care providers, with continuing education to promote patient care excellence.

The DNA is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialling Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Attendees can earn continuing-education hours for the general sessions, as well as for the nurse practitioner forum sessions offered March 7–8, 2025. Several education tracks will be offered throughout the convention, including pharmacotherapeutics, professional development and research, surgical and cutaneous oncology, medical and pediatric dermatology, and aesthetics.

This year there will be a full-day aesthetics workshop on Saturday, March 8, 2025. The first half of the workshop will focus on basic aesthetics and the second half on advanced aesthetics. There are plans to offer a laser and cryotherapy workshop sponsored by Brymill, who will supply equipment for a hands-on experience. The program planning committee is considering offering other specialty topics after reviewing members’ interests and needs.

The exhibit schedule has been designed to provide sufficient time for attendees to meet and learn from pharmaceutical representatives about new treatments in dermatology and speak with representatives about new products and services. Nursing and commercial posters will also be available to review in the exhibit hall.

To promote excellence in dermatologic care, the DNA is inviting all providers practicing dermatology to support their staff in attending the 43rd Annual Convention. Whether you are in an academic institution or private practice, this convention will help your staff members provide high-quality dermatologic care for your patients, setting up the practice for success.

Olanda Hathaway is a cochair of the 2025 DNA Program Planning Committee.
