Introducing Medi for Help Wound Care Missions

Wound care providers are needed and encouraged to join the relief project Medi for Help. This mission launched soon after the Haiti earthquake on Jan. 12, 2010, in an effort to restore some of the victims’ quality of life. Its main target is to provide amputees with lower limb prostheses and to provide treatment in areas of orthopedics, wound care, and lymphedema. More than 220,000 people have died since the tragedy in Haiti and more than 300,000 people were injured, according to officials.
