United EcoEnergy Corp. Reaches Agreement with the American Diabetes Association

Corporate Sponsorship Agreement Provides an Avenue for United EcoEnergy and Its Hemostatic Gauze Product to Support the American Diabetes Association’s Mission to Stop Diabetes®. United EcoEnergy Corp. (OTCBB: UEEC), a healthcare solutions and product development company focusing on the expanding wound-care industry, recently announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Epic Wound Care, Inc., has signed a corporate sponsorship agreement with the American Diabetes Association.
“We are pleased to announce this new agreement with the American Diabetes Association, the largest voluntary health organization committed to the fight to stop diabetes.”

The three-year agreement between Epic Wound Care and the American Diabetes Association recognizes Epic as a National Strategic Partner, the Association’s highest level of corporate support for a consumer product company and it grants Epic and its affiliates a license to utilize and display the Association name, taglines and various “Proud Sponsor” and “National Strategic Partner” logos on its marketing material and products throughout the term of the agreement. The use of the Association’s name and logo does not constitute an endorsement of the product but acknowledges Epic’s commitment to supporting the mission to stop diabetes and improve the lives of those affected by the disease.

"We are pleased to announce this new agreement with the American Diabetes Association, the largest voluntary health organization committed to the fight to stop diabetes," said Kelly T. Hickel, Chairman and CEO of United EcoEnergy Corp. “As we participate in corporate sponsored events and fundraisers over the next several years we are committed to helping increase awareness of diabetes and expanding our relationship with the Association.”
The sponsorship includes the opportunity for Epic to participate in the Association’s Annual Corporate Sponsor Summit, and marketing strategy meetings that help the company develop promotional ideas related to the affiliation. In addition, Epic will receive full-page color advertisements in Diabetes Forecast® magazine and have the opportunity to participate in various Association fundraising events throughout the term of the agreement.

Mr. Hickel commented, “We believe our innovative hemostatic gauze product, which is sold in the United States and around the world to help stop bleeding from various wounds, including diabetic ulcers, is an excellent example of products that complement the Association’s mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.”

United’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Epic Wound Care Inc., claim that they are penetrating the growing wound-care market by manufacturing an innovative gauze that changes the way medical professionals treat their patients. The gauze was initially developed as a tool to provide medical professionals the ability to stop bleeding in the most efficient manner possible. Epic Wound Care and its master distributor Coreva Health Science, LLC, are currently marketing and distributing this product within various dental, EMS, trauma, and military sectors.
Epic’s hemostatic gauze can be used on nearly any wound where bleeding is present. Upon contact with blood, the gauze forms a gel-like substance, which acts as a homeostatic agent that expands slightly to cause direct pressure on blood vessels and control bleeding. Once bleeding has ceased and coagulation has occurred, the product can be rinsed away with water and dissolves into saline (sodium and water). Because of its purity and the fact that it degrades to these simple end-products, the gauze does not cause delayed healing as do other hemostatic materials that may have a similar appearance.

With this innovative hemostatic gauze, United has the potential to transform segments of the market such as ambulatory emergencies, surgery, dental, home care and athletic injuries.
