LifeNet Health Acquires Bioventus Wound Care Portfolio

LifeNet Health recently announced the acquisition of the Bioventus Inc. wound care division, a move the company says will expand its portfolio of wound care solutions.

The portfolio includes TheraSkin®, which LifeNet notes was the subject of a recent randomized clinical trial showing the allograft significantly improves wound healing by supporting wound closure at a faster rate than the standard of care. LifeNet notes TheraSkin and two other products from Bioventus—Theragenesis® and SonicOne®—will strengthen LifeNet Health’s portfolio of skin tissue biologics and regenerative medicine products, including Dermacell AWM® and Matrion®.

MolecuLight Partners With WoundZoom for Cloud-Based Wound Management Solution

MolecuLight Corp. recently announced it is partnering with Perceptive Solutions to deliver a cloud-based wound management solution via its WoundZoom® platform that will be integrated with the MolecuLightDX point-of-care bacterial imaging device. The new partnership is being announced at the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring
 
With the integrated solution, MolecuLight says wound care clinicians will now be able to benefit from having bacterial imaging and digital wound measurement as well as a total cloud-based wound management system, including:

  • Comprehensive patient/wound documentation and tracking,
  • Wound department analytics and dashboarding, and
  • Cloud-based synchronization of multiple MolecuLightDX devices.

The company notes the integration of the MolecuLightDX device with WoundZoom will automate image and measurement uploading, synchronize data across multiple DX devices in a facility, and allow department administrators to focus on continuous improvement of patient care and wound care operations.

TransUnion Partners With Datavant for Measurement Solutions for Health Care

TransUnion recently announced it is expanding its partnership with Datavant to offer de-identified patient insights and measurement solutions for HIPAA-focused health care brands.

The company says the partnership will enable Datavant’s ecosystem of partners to connect to demographic data available in TruAudience®, TransUnion’s comprehensive suite of solutions. The integration will enable health care and pharmaceutical companies to improve customer outcomes across the full lifecycle of patient engagement, especially measurement of outreach effectiveness.

TruAudience solutions combine the expansive consumer data, audience building, and targeting capabilities of TransUnion and Neustar into a comprehensive and interoperable suite of privacy-first solutions, according to TransUnion. Additionally, the company says the product suite offers closed-loop marketing measurement.
