AAWC Update
Announcing the AAWC Shire Fellowship Grant in Wound Healing and Research
The AAWC is pleased and proud to be able to provide two fellowship support grants for the 2014-2015 academic year, made possible by an unrestricted grant from Shire. These are the first in what is hoped to be a series of yearly grants (and types of grants).
In the first quarter of 2014, after conducting a thorough review of all applications, the AAWC Fellowship Grant Review Committee will award two $50,000 support grants. The grants will provide fellowship support for two physician fellows (MD, DO, DPM) to conduct research dedicated to the multidisciplinary approach to wound care in an academic and/or research setting.
Application forms, guidelines, and instructions are scheduled to be available by the end of September 2013 and will be accepted through January 2014. Please visit www.aawconline.org/fellowships/ for more information.
