The Refuge, a residential program that treats adults with PTSD, eating disorders, addiction, depression and co-occurring disorders in Ocklawaha, Florida, on Wednesday announced a leadership transition.
Isabel Rehak is stepping down after 17 years as the organization’s CEO, and will be succeeded by Julie Kuber, RN, MSN, MBA. A Boston native with 20 years of professional experience, Kuber began her career in pediatrics and also worked as a traveling nurse. Her work in behavioral health started when she took a position as a nurse in a women’s eating disorder program in California.
She has since moved on to roles in direct care, operations and management for programs that provide acute stabilization, substance use disorder, mental health and eating disorder services.
