SaVida Opens 2nd Maine Outpatient Program
SaVida Health announced that it is opening a second facility for outpatient specialty treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction in Maine. The new location will open Nov. 5 in Penobscot County, accepting in-person and telehealth visits.
SaVida provides opioid health home services and offers medical, behavioral and wraparound services. In addition to prescribing medications for the treatment of OUD during weekly, biweekly or monthly visits, SaVida offers psychiatric medication management, medical care, counseling and case management. The program also connects patients with local services to assist with food insecurity, homelessness and/or unemployment.
Founded in 2010, SaVida now operates 22 outpatient treatment centers in Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Virginia and Delware.
