Askesis adds two deployment options to PsychConsult suite

Askesis Development Group has announce the addition of two deployment options to the PsychConsult Provider suite of products. In addition to the traditional client-server solution, agencies now have the flexibility to choose from two web-accessible options: Self-hosted Provider Web and Software as a Service (SaaS) Provider Web.

The first addition will allow Askesis’ PsychConsult Provider customers to host the Provider application with web browser accessibility for their end users. We believe that this option, with its less expensive infrastructure and maintenance costs, will prove to be an attractive alternative to agencies that are considering or currently utilizing Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) or desktop virtualization products from Citrix Systems.

Our second addition is PsychConsult Provider SaaS. With this solution, the entire application will be hosted by Askesis and customers will subscribe to this “service.” This option will also allow for web browser access to PsychConsult Provider while reducing the cost of establishing and maintaining an IT infrastructure.

Askesis continues to reinvest and evolve at a pace that allows its clients to keep up-to-date with technology solutions that support the rapidly changing behavioral health and substance abuse industries.
