VSS Medical Technologies acquires Sigmund Software

VSS Medical Technologies, Inc. has announced that it has acquired Sigmund Software, LLC, a New York based provider of Electronic Medical Record Software solutions for health and human services organizations nationwide.

The investment by VSS will make way for an accelerated expansion of both the Sigmund product line and the Sigmund install base, leveraging Sigmund’s EMRx ARRA-certified solution within the rapidly evolving Medical Software space. The goal is to continue to enhance Sigmund’s suite of solutions organically as well as with strategic acquisitions, depending on fit.

He also brings a commitment to the field of behavioral health and using technology to improve patient care and outcomes.
