Masimo expands Rainbow SET platform
Masimo Corp. has announced the expansion of its Rainbow SET Pulse CO-Oximetry platform, which provides pulse oximetry readings in situations of motion and low perfusion and allows the continuous noninvasive monitoring of carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO) and methemoglobin (SpMet) levels in the blood. Extensions include the availability of a bedside monitor, the Masimo Radical-7, to monitor SpCO and SpMet, and a line of associated single-patient adhesive sensors. The new line will include adult, pediatric, infant and neonatal sensors.
